You can receive our Do It Yourself Kit to transfer the chip independently directly from home. The kit includes everything you need and a QR code to a detailed video tutorial

Not currently. Our cards only support contact EMV chips. We are working to integrate contactless functionality in the future.

Yes! You can upload your own logo. Each card is laser engraved on high quality steel.

Each card is personalized upon request, so returns or refunds are not possible unless there are manufacturing defects or errors attributable to us. If you have any problems, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.

Supported EMV chip types

There are two main formats of EMV chips in bank cards, which differ in size and shape.

1. Large chip (square shape)
   Dimensions approximately 12mm x 12mm
   Square shape
2. Small chip (rectangular shape)
   Dimensions approximately 8mm x 12mm

What does ImperiumLuxCard offer?
ImperiumLuxCard transforms your bank or credit card into an elegant, personalized metal version. The original chip is manually transferred to the new card, maintaining all its essential features.

Does the metal card work like the original one?
Yes. After transferring the chip, the metal card can be used normally for withdrawals and payments by inserting the chip. Contactless payments are not supported.

Is the chip cloned or duplicated?
No. The chip is removed from your original card and physically transferred to the new metal card. No copying or duplication is made. No data is saved or digitally read.

Do you offer a DIY kit?
Yes. Our DIY kit is available for those who want to transfer the chip themselves, without sending their card. The kit includes all the necessary tools and detailed instructions.

Shipping and timing

Do you only ship to Switzerland?
No. We ship throughout Europe via tracked mail.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is included in the price, both for sending the kit and for returning the modified card.

How long does it take to receive my metal card?
Once we receive your card (or complete the transfer with the kit), processing time is 1-2 business days. Shipping takes 2-5 business days, depending on the country.

Safety

Is it safe to send my card?
Yes. The entire process is carried out with the utmost discretion and security. The chip is neither read nor copied. Once the process is complete, the original card can be returned or destroyed upon request.

What happens if my card gets damaged during the process?
We operate with the utmost care. If we cause any damage, we take full responsibility and will offer you an immediate solution.

Does my metal card work with contactless?
No, contactless payments are not currently available with metal cards created through our service.
